About this library

DairyWeb began as a virtual library of dairy production information: a catalogue of papers from nutrition and management conferences, the Western Dairy Digest and university extension, arranged under a subject hierarchy.

The 2026 edition

The library has been rebuilt on the original addresses. Subject headings keep their original file names, so a link to a heading made years ago opens the same heading today. Summaries are those written for the first catalogue.

What is new: the site reads properly on a phone, the subject tree no longer needs frames or scripts, search covers summaries as well as titles, and Dairy Notes has grown from a handful of entries to 20.

What is held

The catalogue lists 364 documents in 105 collections, 345 of them with a title and summary. 237 documents can be opened in full on the site.

Independence

DairyWeb is an independent reference site. It is not operated by, or affiliated with, any university, government department, conference organiser or producer organisation named in the catalogue. Documents remain the property of their authors and publishers.

Corrections

Where an original entry contained an error, the text has been corrected and the change is marked with an editor’s note on the page.
